About the Justadtinden hike

Justadtinden hike is a long but not steep hike, with some really nice and impressive 360 views of Vestvågøy, Vestfjorden and the surroundings in general. On sunny days Justadtinden is one of the best and most popular hikes in Lofoten, but because it is realtive long, it is normally not over-crowded. Remember to bring enough water and something to eat to keep your energylevel up from start to finish. At the starting point of the hike you will find parking and a public toilet. Along the trail you will also find good, flat and dry spots for your tent if you are planning to camp.
Be aware that although the maps are based on GPS tracks, the intention is still just to provide the starting point and approximate direction of the trip, and do not take into account exact positioning. The accuracy of maps and GPS can also vary slightly.
You are always responsible for making your own assements when hiking in the mountains. It is also important to be well-suited for the weather conditions, in addition to bringing enough water and a snack to keep the energy level stable.
