The best beaches in Norway

Share

The beaches of Noway is not something a world traveler would imagine to be impressed by. But hidden between the sharp mountains and wild coastline in the north, are some of Norway’s, maybe the world’s most scenic beaches. The golden sands draw photographers, surfers and backpackers from the world over. Lofoten for instance, is as much a beach destination as a hiking one.

The beaches are often very popular spots for camping, kayaking, swimming and other activities. In some cases they are also ideal surfing spots. It can be well worth it to make one of them into your bucketlist when visiting Norway.
