Mortsund cabins can be found at a small fishing village just outside of Leknes in Lofoten. The cabin is brand new and offers a very short distance to the nature.

About the cabin at Mortsund
The cabin is perfect for extended family or friends on a trip that wants to get closer to the sea and mountains.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms (9 beds), 2 bathrooms, open living room & kitchen solution, and a separate TV corner. Outside you will have access to a large terrace to have quiet morning coffee or quiet evenings with a view of the mainland, where Steigen and Hamarøy are seen in the distance.
In the middle of Lofoten, this is the perfect base for taking it easy or exploring the region. Mortsund is a small fishing village, but has two restaurants within 5 minutes walk! A box of breakfast food and possibly local food specialties can be ordered and ready until you arrive. There are good fishing opportunities both from boat and land (and the terrace).
Mortsund is protected by many larger and smaller islands. This means that there are almost always calm conditions at sea to do sea-related activities such as sup, kayaking or rowing, and at the same time there is a short way outside to fish.
It is a short way to Leknes, which has both an airport, a shopping center and a large selection of shops. If you come by ferry to Moskenes from Bodø, it is just over an hour’s drive. Evenes is about 3.5 hours drive from here.
In addition to the price, there is NOK 1,800 that covers cleaning, bed linen and towels for up to 4 people. NOK 200 extra per person excluding this.
The booking is locked and confirmed when payment is in the account. If canceled less than 14 days before the stay, 20% of the cancellation fee will be retained.
June 20 – August 15 = 4000 per night (minimum 3 nights)
August 16-December = 3000 per night (minimum 2 nights)
January-March = 3500 per night (minimum 2 nights)
April-20 June = 3800 per night (minimum 3 nights)
